The BizTouch3 (BT3) phone is available in two varieties: Call Appearance and Line Appearance. The BT3 allows you to meet your unique business needs by giving you flexibility and control over your phone calls or incoming lines. The BT3 Call Appearance and Line Appearance also share many of the same features.


GENERAL BT3 FEATURES AND SPECIFICATIONS


  • 16 lighted indicator buttons to enable users to see the status of active lines or calls and the status of other employees' extensions (e.g., busy, idle, Do Not Disturb, etc.)

  • Transfer calls to other phones in or out of the office or directly into voice mail

BT3 Line Appearance

Provides a key system or multi-line style of operation for up to six incoming lines. It allows you to answer phone lines differently for different divisions, companies or tenants. You may choose specific lines for outbound calls.


Buy the BT3 Line Appearance if:


  • You answer different telephone lines different ways or various divisions have separate phone numbers but they come in through the same phone system. (The Bizfon Multi-Tenant option would also be appropriate.)
  • Employees pick-up calls by what line the call is on, i.e. "Joe pick-up a call on line 2".
  • You need to be able to see what lines are on hold, currently in use, or available.
  • Most commonly used in systems with 6 lines or less.
  BT3 Call Appearance

Provides a PBX style of operation, typical in environments where employees juggle multiple calls or have higher call volume. Can handle up to four calls simultaneously at each phone set.


Buy the BT3 Call Appearance if:


  • You have a receptionist who answers all calls and transfers calls to people at designated extensions.
  • You do not need to know what line a call comes in on.
  • Employees take calls that are automatically distributed or transferred to them by either the auto attendant or a receptionist.
  • Most commonly used in systems that are greater than 6 lines.
